Abstract
Native pests and diseases, invasive alien species and especially the problems with ash dieback were again the reason of an expert meeting at the Federal Research and Training Centre for Forests, Natural Hazards and Landscape (BFW) which was held from 14th to 16th October 2009 in Vienna. For this occasion 66 participants from 16 Central, South and North European countries and Turkey took the opportunity for an exchange of information. As practiced during the two meetings before, most of the time was dedicated
to discussions and informal talks. Papers of the oral and poster presentations are provided in this issue.
